Your pxl.to short links went dark? The list rebuilds itself from live traffic.
pxl.to has not answered since 5 October 2026, and there is no way to export your links. What remains is the traffic: every printed QR code and every link you ever sent still calls your short-link domain. Point that domain at InsightHub Links and every hit is counted while you fill the targets back in. No old list, no pxl.to needed.
Why this page exists.
We update these facts, with a date, as soon as anything changes.
pxl.to has not answered since 5 October
Customers on Trustpilot and AppSumo report dead links and QR codes since 5 October 2026 and support requests without reply. app.pxl.to and api.pxl.to return error 503, the custom-domain address cname.pxl.to is unreachable. Whether and when the service returns is open.
We were customers too
Our short domains ran on pxl.to. With the outage we lost the link list including the targets; we recovered twelve links from the Internet Archive, the rest is gone. InsightHub Links grew out of that damage, first for our own domains.
Rescue first, decide later.
Both paths start the same way: point your domain, record the hits, fill in the targets. The difference is what comes afterwards.
Record and export for 60 days
For everyone whose short-link domain is dead at the old provider. You point the domain at us, we record every hit for 60 days, you fill in the targets and take your list as CSV. No credit card, no commitment.
- Hits on all short links with counters, sorted by frequency
- Fill in a target and the link works again immediately
- Export at any time: short link, target, title, hits
- At the end you decide: stay, or leave with your list
Keep the links, win inquiries
For everyone who wants more than a replacement after the outage. Your links stay online permanently, with your own domain, QR codes and statistics. On top comes what InsightHub is anyway: inquiries and leads in one place, campaigns, automations and an AI assistant for website, chat and phone.
- Links, QR codes and statistics without a time limit
- Links in the same account as inquiries, campaigns and assistant
- From €29 per month net, cancellable monthly
- Which Links features sit in which plan, we clarify before you decide
Three steps, no software.
60 days free per domain, export as CSV at any time. pxl.to does not have to do anything.
Point your domain
You point your short-link domain, say l.your-company.com, at InsightHub with a CNAME record instead of at pxl.to. We send you the details.
Once, a few minutesHits are collected
From the switch on, every hit is counted, including links whose target we do not know yet. We store the link and the count, no IP addresses.
Runs by itselfFill in the targets
Your links show up sorted by hits: first the ones people still use. You fill in the target and the link works again. Import what is left of your old list as CSV.
Step by stepYou can do this without us. Here is the overview.
Everything below works with tools you probably already have: a web server or a WordPress site you control, and an afternoon.
Keep the domain alive
Do not delete the CNAME record and do not reuse the domain for anything else. Point it at a web server or WordPress site you control instead of at the old provider.
DNS, five minutesRead what still gets called
Every old short link now arrives at your server as “page not found”. Your host’s access log, or a redirect plugin with a 404 log, shows the paths with counts. That is your lost link list, sorted by use.
Days to weeksRecover the targets
The Wayback Machine stored many short links together with their redirect target: web.archive.org/web/*/l.your-company.com/* . Newsletter tool, social media scheduler, sent mail and ad accounts hold the rest in plain text.
An hour of searchingCreate the redirects
One rule per link, in the redirect plugin, in your host’s redirect settings or in Cloudflare rules. The link works again the moment the rule exists. Keep the list as a CSV outside any tool.
Per linkReplace what cannot be recovered
Links on the provider’s domain (pxl.to/abc) and its microsites are gone. Reprint or republish them on your own domain, so the next outage costs you one DNS change.
ReprintIf you would rather not run this yourself: that is exactly what the recorder on this page does, with counters and CSV export, free for 60 days per domain.
What the restore can do and what it cannot.
Better a clear answer now than a disappointment later.
This works
- Revive links and QR codes on your own domain
- Count hits before you know the target
- Fill in targets step by step, prioritised by hits
- Import what is left of your old list as CSV
- Later: new links, QR codes and statistics on the same domain
This does not
- Links on the old provider's domain, such as pxl.to/abc: only the provider can revive them.
- Microsites and landing pages of the provider: their content is gone, only a rebuild helps.
- Old statistics: counting starts on the day you switch.
- Links nobody opens any more: they do not show up. Then again, nobody misses them.
Which domain should live again?
Short form, no commitment. We set up your access and send you the DNS details for your domain. Until then: keep the CNAME record, collect everything printed.
🔒 GDPR-compliant. Hosted in Europe, no IP addresses in the recording.
